Parents often have a lot of questions
As their baby or toddler is growing up it is very normal to have lots of questions. Our junior development programs have been designed so that parents know exactly what to expect to give them confidence and guidance at each stage of their child’s life.
I’m Suzie Davies. I’m a paediatric physiotherapist- so i’m a physio that is specialised in working with babies and children. I’ve been working in this space for 20 years now so I’m very passionate about helping children and babies grow and develop and move in the best way that they can.
When the MyFirstGym team approached me to be a part of this I was really proud to be involved in the development of the junior programming as I was able to add my expertise around developmental milestones including the physical milestones, social & emotional milestones, and behavioural expectations at each stage. So myself and MyFirstGym collaborated to develop the junior programs which is a 7 month to 5 year old group.
We’ve split it up into developmental stages so the first program is it Baby Explorers us for 7 to 12 month olds and what we expect in that group is very different to say what we’d expect in the group which targets the 3 to 4 year olds. Each program is very specifically developed to work on social emotional physical and behavioural milestones and helps families know what to do what to expect and what to work on at that specific stage in their child’s life
